Crosslisting means listing the same item on more than one marketplace so more buyers see it. VendorSnap does it from one photo: Price Check names the item and prices it, one tap lists it on eBay and Etsy, and your phone lists it on Facebook Marketplace. When it sells, anywhere, the other listings come down.
How crosslisting works in VendorSnap
- Snap or upload a photo. Price Check names the item and suggests a price from what the same thing is listed for on eBay right now. It also drafts the title, description, category and tags.
- Check the details, then List Online. Pick eBay, Etsy or both. They go live in one tap, or as drafts you publish yourself. Each marketplace shows what it still needs, in words, before you press anything.
- Add Facebook Marketplace from your phone. Facebook Marketplace has no listing API, so VendorSnap lists there from the phone app through your own Facebook sign-in, and your phone marks the Facebook listing sold the next time you open VendorSnap.
- Record the sale once. Ring it up on the Register, or tap Mark as Sold and say where it sold. VendorSnap records the sale and ends the eBay and Etsy listings in seconds.
Why sellers crosslist, and what goes wrong
More marketplaces means more buyers, and the numbers back it up: an item that sits for weeks on one site often sells in days on another. The catch is the bookkeeping. The same bowl listed in three places has to come down in two of them the moment it sells, or you sell it twice, cancel an order, and your seller rating pays for it.
Most crosslisters try to solve that by watching your marketplaces through a browser extension, which only works while your computer is on. VendorSnap does it the other way round: the sale is recorded in VendorSnap, and eBay and Etsy are ended by their own official APIs from our servers, so nothing has to stay open. What is a crosslisting app?
A crosslisting app lets you write a listing once and post it to several marketplaces, then takes the other listings down when the item sells. VendorSnap does that for eBay, Etsy and Facebook Marketplace, and adds a register for selling in person.
Does VendorSnap delist automatically when an item sells?
When you record the sale in VendorSnap, on the Register or with Mark as Sold, your eBay and Etsy listings are ended by their APIs in seconds, with no computer left on. Your phone marks a Facebook listing sold the next time you open VendorSnap. VendorSnap does not watch your marketplaces for sales on its own, so an online sale is one tap: Mark as Sold, then where it sold.
Which marketplaces does VendorSnap support?
eBay and Etsy through their official APIs, and Facebook Marketplace from the phone app. It does not list on Poshmark, Mercari, Depop or Grailed.
Is VendorSnap free?
